 Farewell darbar held to honour outgoing DHA head



KARACHI: Administrator DHA Brig Khalid Masood Tirmizi held a Darbar meeting of DHA Employees to bid farewell at the Defence Housing Authority's Main Office here on Wednesday.
Brig Tirmizi thanked the employees for the whole hearted co-operation extended to him by them during his erstwhile tenure in the office. He urged upon the management and staff to continue their dedicated efforts for achieving the highest standards of excellence. He also asked them to uphold DHA's good name, reputation and credibility at all costs.
Brig Tirmizi impressed upon the DHA's employees to leave no stone unturned in maintaining the stature of DHA as a modern, efficient and vibrant organization. He emphasized upon the DHA staff to ensure transparency and merit in all their undertakings and to adopt residents' responsive policies in their dealings.
Brig Khalid Tirmizi has been posted to GHQ Rawalpindi on completion of his two years tenure in the Housing Authority. During his illustrious tenure, he infused a galvanizing spirit of modernisation and dynamism in the Housing Authority and made substantial contributions towards revitalising and resurrecting the stalled DHA mega projects as well as in giving an impetus to the ongoing DHA mega projects.
The celebrated achievements of his tenure include successful launch of DHA City on Super Highway, handing over of Creek Vista apartments to owners, completion of Gizri Flyover, establishment of DHA Services, opening of the Modern Bachat Bazaar in DHA Phase-VIII and a host of other development endeavours which are a matter of pride and accomplishment for the Housing Authority.
Brig Tirmizi in his concluding remarks said that the newly appointed Administrator, Brig Aamer Raza Qureshi has an excellent record of service and possesses the vision and acumen to steer DHA to new heights of success and glory. Brig Tirmizi was given a befitting send-off on his departure from the Housing Authority's Main Office. The new Administrator of DHA, Brig Qureshi is a professional civil engineer and is well known in the Army for his professionalism, dynamism and ability to undertake the challenging assignments.-PR
