 It’s time govt cut spending, Sharif says



MUZAFFARGARH: PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif on Thursday again made it clear that it is high time that government must reduce expenditures for the sake of flood affectees urging the promises made must be now brought to practice.
While talking to a private TV channel on Thursday, Mian Nawaz Sharif vowed to provide relief and rehabilitate the people affected by catastrophic flood in the country.
He said that the government must chalk out a comprehensive strategy and must start disbursement of cash to the affectees soon.
Masses are facing gigantic difficulties in the form of load shedding, unemployment and unremitting inflation, he underlined. It is high time to mitigate sufferings of flood affectees, he pointed. Unless and until federal government cuts expenses from the federal budget, relief cannot be provided to the downtrodden affectees, he added. -Online
