Power minister calls on Sheikh Diyab
Pervaiz delivers President’s letter to UAE prince
DUBAI: Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Sunday called on Chairman Abu Dhabi Water and Electric Agency, Prince Diyab Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and discussed with him bilateral affairs in Abu Dhabi.
According to a message received here on Sunday, Sheikh Diyab said that the packing of 320MW power plant has been started and would soon be delivered to Pakistan as UAE has promised to give the plant to its brother country as a gift to resolve power crises.
The 320MW thermal power plant will reach Pakistan in August, while the UAE government will give another thermal power plant of 300MW soon.
During meeting Raja Pervaiz also apprised Shahzada Sheikh Diyab Bin Nahyan about the difficulties of the Malakand IDPs. Prince Diyab Bin Nahyan assured of extending every possible help for the IDPs.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf thanked him for giving 320MW power plant in order to steer Pakistan out of power crises. The Minister also delivered an important letter of President, Asif Ali Zardari to Prince Diyab.-Agencies
