Staff Reporter KARACHI: In its endeavor to contribute to a brighter future of Pakistan's Banking Industry, Bank Alfalah Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, making a commitment to contribute Rs33 million over a period of three years to the IBA Endowment Fund. This fund is aimed for MBA Banking and Financial Services, research and teaching courses, said a press release on Wednesday. It said this partnership reinforces Bank Alfalah's seriousness in making intelligent investments to nurture the future generation of highly-qualified bankers. The agreement was signed by Sirajuddin Aziz, CEO, Bank Alfalah Limited, Pakistan and Dr Ishrat Husain, Dean and Director, IBA, at the Bank Alfalah Limited Head Office here. Speaking on the occasion, Aziz said, "We feel honoured to partner with IBA, which is one of the most prestigious institutes of the country." Expressing his views at the signing ceremony, Dr Ishrat Husain said, "This strategic alliance will support IBA in spearheading towards its goal to develop smart professional managers and entrepreneurs for Pakistan's corporate sector."
