KARACHI: The Board of Governors of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) appreciated the efforts of the University for developing a research-oriented faculty with the induction of highly qualified teachers in different disciplines.
The Board expressed its appreciation while approving the recommendation of the Selection Board which met on February 24 and 25, 2010. The Selection Board in its 27th meeting had interviewed around 150 candidates for the posts of Lecturers, Assistant Professors and Professors.
While considering the audit report for financial years 2007 and 2008 submitted by Chartered Accountants and duly authorised by Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Director Finance, the Board of Governors reposed its full confidence in the financial discipline of the University.
The BoG, also reviewed the arrangements relating to 13th Convocation of the University to be held on March 26, 2010 and approved the list of degree recipients.-APP |
