KARACHI: The provincial government has fixed the timings of trading markets from nine o' clock morning to eight o' clock evening here in a Chief Minister House on Tuesday, a private TV channel reported. According to details, it was decided in the meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister regarding the timings of the markets. The decision would be implemented from March 15 in the city. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that the security of the traders would be ensured, and in first-phase two thousands police staffers would be hired in this regard. He further said that the arms licenses would be issued to traders for the security measures in the city. The CM stated that the availability of electricity at day timings would be ensured in the city. While on the other hand the Karachi Traders Action Committee has rejected the CM's decision regarding the timings of the trading markets. -Online |
