NJ Punjab win 3rd Abdul Razak Arain Ramazan Rocball

KARACHI: NJ Punjab won the Abdul Razak Arain Ramazan Night Rocball Tournament beating Garden Fighter 2-0 Sets (20-9, 20-3). The tournament was organised at Mini Sports Complex Nazimabad Karachi by Pakistan Rocball Federation in collaboration with Sindh Rocball Association & Sindh Sports Department. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ajmal from Sindh Police with 7 Goals and Hat-trick in Rocball Tournament and declared the Best Players of the Tournament and was awarded a motorbike and cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-.
Semi-Final Matches: Garden fighter beat Aga Khan Ghykhana, 3-2 Sets ( 20-12, 20-14, 20-11, 14-20, 15-9) 1 Goal Garden Fighter by Sehran; NJ Punjab beat Ghazi Sports 2-1 Sets ( 20-15,16-20, 20-10) 3 Goal NJ Punjab by Mujahid and 2 Goal Ghazi Sports by Imran.
Third Position Match: Ghazi Sports beat Aga Khan Gymkhana (12-6, 8-12, 9-12, 12-1, 12-7). 1Goal Ghazi Sports by Imran. 
Usman Ijaz Bajwa (PSP) President Rocball Federation and Saeed Ahemd Arain Chairman Pakistan Rocball Federation were the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distribution of prizes. Winner team was given a cash prize amounting to Rs. 10000/- while Winners, Runners-up and Third Position holders were given Trophy, Medals, Certificates. Gift Hampers were given to guests, media friends, T-Officials, Official and the Organizing Committee members.
The President, in his address thanked all participating teams, guests, officials, and media friends and announce that in the next event PRF will give two motorbikes and Cash Prize for Best Team and Best Player. 
Saeed Ahmed Arainm Chairman Pakistan Rocball Federation appreciated the organizing committee and extended special thanks to Maqbool Arain Senior Vice President, Pakistan Rocball Federation for organising the tournament in a very good manner.
Ume Laila Kalsoom General Secretary Pakistan Rocball Federation thanked to all teams, guests, officials, media friends and announced that the National Rocball Men and Women Championship will be organized in September and the Pakistan team will be going to participate in South Asian Championship in Malaysia month of December.

Quarter-Final Matches: Aga Khan Gymkhana beat Ali Jawani, 2-1 Sets, (17-20, 20-13, 20-6) 2 Goals Aga Khan Gymkhana by Shamas; N.J Punjab beat Police, 2-0 Sets (20-17, 20-13), 2 Goals NJ Punjab by Mujahid and 1 Goal Police by Khurram; Garden Fighters beat Hunza friends, 2-1 Sets (17-20, 20-13, 20-6). 2 Goals Garden Fighter 2- by Naveed and 1 Goal Hunza Friends 1 Goal by Ejaz; Ghazi Sports beat Hydri Spikers, 2-0 Sets (20-4, 20-5) 1 Goal Ghazi Sports by Javed. 
As many as 20 teams participated in the tournament. One team was from Punjab, one from Hyderabad and 18 teams belonged to different clubs and departments from Karachi.
