PM arrives in Jeddah for Umrah

JEDDAH: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, along with his family members reached Jeddah on a private visit on a commercial flight.
Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Abdullah received the Prime Minister on the airport.
As is the usual practice of the premier he will spend the last days of the holy month of Ramazan in the Kingdom.
During the visit, Nawaz Sharif will perform Umrah during the last days of the Holy Month of Ramazan and also offer prayers in Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madina.
He traveled on a commercial flight along with his family members.
Sources said, he will travel to London on June 26 for a medical check-up and will celebrate Eidul Fitr there along with his family members who are accompanying him on this trip. The prime minister is expected to return home on June 30.
The Prime Minister had earlier on May 30, last year undergone open-heart surgery in London after he was diagnosed with a heart complication by doctors. - NNI
