Bagged 2 gold medals, 15 other prizes

KARACHI: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) stood at the top in banking industry of the country when its employees bagged two gold medals and 15 other prizes in the convocation held at the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP).
It's for the third consecutive year that NBP employees are excelling in the ISQ qualification of JAIBP. The convocation was chaired by Salim Raza Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and CEOs of other banks.
The Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) is the only formal professional body working under the umbrella of SBP known as knowledge institute dedicated for the professional enrichment of bankers and other interested in banking career.
This singular distinction is a testimony of the fact that NBP today is the employer of choice. These medalists belong to the NBP's Management Trainees Scheme started in 2003.
Syed Ali Raza President NBP while addressing a select group of management trainees of various batches who have shown outstanding performance in IBP examination and have been conferred medals and prizes, said that this is confirmation to the bank's strategy of hiring the talented youth for meeting the upcoming challenges.
He said that NBP has all the ingredients to surpass the present results.
