KARACHI: Banking services have been partially restored in war-afflicted Malakand division while difficulties of staff shortage and lack of infrastructure are being faced in reopening the bank branches. The head of United Bank Limited's Consumer Banking Muhammad Asghar told a private news channel that 6 out of 32 bank branches in Malakand division have been re-opened. He said branches in Matta, Kabal and Mingora could not be opened due to the curfew in these areas. However, banking services have been revived in Taimergarah and Buner, he added. -APP
