KARACHI: Meezan Bank Limited (MBL), Pakistan's first and largest Islamic Bank, is resuming its banking operations in Swat by re-opening its Mingora Branch from coming Monday. An announcement to this effect was made in a statement of the Bank here on Thursday.
It pointed out that MBL is the first bank to restore its operations in Swat with stability arriving in law and order situation in the area.
MBL customers can now have access to the benefit of the banking services at Mingora Branch, Swat, subject to curfew hours. It was further pointed out that Meezan Bank also established Customer Services Desks in its Mardan Branch, to facilitate the IDPs. -APP
