The Company (DRC) was incorporated in June 2006 as a proprietorship company and then soon converted into partnership firm with the registrar of the firms. The Company is now incorporated under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 as Private   Limited Company. The Company is engaged in the business of printing and publishing a daily English newspaper in the name of “The Financial Daily”, Weekly Urdu magazine “Stock Review” and Monthly English magazine “Mutual Fund”. DRC has an independent well equipped research house since its inception, which is the backbone of all the entities. The Company is also publishing annual book on different sectors of Pakistan ’s economy. The Dawning Metaphor is the first of this series which is focusing on 5 years performance of capital markets. The Financial Daily was started from Karachi in February 2007 and in the very short span of time it has established itself as an independent quality English daily. The company has its own printing press installed at Karachi . The paper is printed out from Karachi and edition carries the Editorial, opinions, views, commodities, money & forex, shipping & logistics, world stocks, analytical view, stock review, market summary, The Financial Daily research, economy & trade and mutual funds review. This not only provides pertinent financial news but also ensures that the paper is out on time and provides its readers with first hand knowledge in the morning. DRC also launched its first website www.thefinancialdaily.com, which is non subscription based for general public which includes E-paper, mock trading, fundamental and analytical data, financial charts, current metal rates, current commodities etc. The directors are satisfied with the progress of the publication at Karachi and expect that it will soon establish itself in Lahore & Islamabad .
