Led life abstemious,
Fear of taunts, sarcasm,
Coming from the deviants,
Who preach, not practice.
Blithe the responses, to
Overtures of passion,
The descent into oblivion,
Past fulfilling liaisons.
Foolish the Simpleton,
Oscillates in hopelessness,
From Hope to Despair,
From courage to fear.
The union as unholy,
As the dirty ganges.
The passion as sinful,
As the cardinal Sin.
'Barkis is willin',
He announced,
None came forward,
To bell the cat.
Deceit a companion
Of Love, of Trust,
Happy to be deprived,
Than ever to be deceived.
Loved thee passionately,
With all thy defects,
In blindness was Sight,
In Light stood darkness.
Love, a supreme conviction,
Disloyalty, a pinnacle of betrayal,
Both states of affliction,
A reason to rejoice, an event to mourn.
Ignition to love, to passion,
Extinguished by errors,
Of misjudgement, and cowardice,
In tatters lies, hopes and dreams.
In youth I dreamt,
Of thy beauteous beauty
In feeble state, of freckles, of wrinkles,
Thy memories run a riot within....
Love befriends the weak,
It constricts and coils,
Defiles hope, and passion,
No fool is wise in love.
There are no rules of Love
Neither twenty nor forty,
A game of chance,
A life of discovery.
An irrelevant emotion,
Of misguidance,
Love, no more,a splendoured thing,
An harvest of splintered heart.
If love is tender,
Betrayal is solid,
Love in vain,
Is a perrineal pain.
